Change Management
Change Management

Making lasting change happen in organisations isn't straightforward. All too often, in our haste to roll-out a 'simple solution', we overlook the people factors.  As a consequence, change is installed rather than implemented and people are compliant rather than committed.

Drawing on my 15 years of industry experience and the approaches of leading thinkers such as Daryl Conner and John Kotter, I can work with you to plan the approach you should take, identifying risks and practical actions.

I can help you by:

Looking across your planned activity with a "change healthcheck tool"; identifying where you're doing well and where your change is at greatest risk. Then I can help you to identify the actions you need to take.

Working with your team to develop a compelling vision for your change and a clear imperative ("burning platform") which will create a sense of urgency.

Creating a map of your stakeholders and their relationships with each other.  We would use this map to assess political power and influence, and then addressing any gaps and risks.

Planning your communication and involvement activities. Lookign for opportunitiers to you give people a sense of inclusion andthey don't feel that the change is being imposed.

Exploring and recommending ways to build and keep commitment.

Addressing resistance to change at all levels in the organisation.
